Bridge Folk Music & Art Festival

Bridge Folk Music & Art Festival is a one-day, free event that takes place on the banks of the Ohio river! The Event will feature live music with 10 local, national and international music acts in genres spanning from Folk to Jazz to Funk: The line up is as follows: Krystal Peterson & The Queen CIty Band, Miles Over Mountain, CATL, Randall Conrad Olinger, Woodblind, Common Center, Jess Lamb & The Factory, Trevor Clark Trio Holler Blend, John Till. Guests are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to relax with their families and enjoy the music.
The restaurants of Piazza Rivercenter will be vending all manner of local food options. Additionally West Sixth Brewing, Chrisman Mill Winery, and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
Local artists and artisan vendors will be selling their wares, along with a full day of family-friendly programming. The event is intended to be interactive and a learning experience for all involved, especially children. Please see below for the full schedule of Music and Programming for the event.
Additionally, the newly launched B-line Bourbon Trail will feature Moonshine Cocktails from the Neeley Family Distillery. Also, local Bourbon expert, Molly Wellmann will be hosting a guided bourbon tasting with New Riff’s OKI 12-Year Barrel pick (this is a limited ticketed tasting of 4 sessions between 2pm - 4pm. 2018 Bridge Folk Music & Arts Festival: Schedule of Events
- 10:00am - 11:00am: Breakfast with Holler Blend: This will be a meet and greet for children and adults to interact with Holler Blend, an Americana band, who will answer questions about being musicians, share their experiences of traveling while playing shows and will play an intimate short set for the crowd.
11:00am - 12:00pm: Trevor Clark Trio (Roebling Stage)
11:30am - 12:30:pm Project Capturing Imaginations with Ryan Hill Hill volunteers with a local 3rd grade art class. Students from his class will be presenting their work for display, while he and other local artists will answer questions about being working artists.
12:10 - 1:10pm: Holler Blend (RiverCenter Stage)
12:45pm - 1:45pm: Hula Hoop Clinic: A short session with a Hula Hoop instructor to review some basic hula hoop tricks and moves (hoops will be on hand, but please bring some of your own to join the fun and hoop the day away to some great music!)
1:20pm - 2:20pm: John Till (Roebling Stage)
2:00pm - 4:00pm: Arts & Crafts with Baker Hunt Art & Cultural Center: Baker Hunt will be conducting art and craft sessions with the children. Activities will include a music-themed project and a nature-based project.
2:30pm - 3:30pm: Jess Lamb & The Factory (RiverCenter Stage)
3:40pm - 4:40pm: CATL (Roebling Stage)
4:30pm - 6:00pm Musical Instrument Petting Zoo with Folk School Coffee Parlor: Different musical instruments will be available for children to pick up, hold and make sounds! Musicians will be on hand to explain the instruments and show the children how each one works.
6:00pm - 6:30pm: Little Folkers Puppet Party with Miss Hanna Rae: Enjoy some puppet fun with Miss Hanna Rae Mathey and The Little Folkers Puppet Party!
