Katie Meyer has served as the Director of Renaissance Covington since 2010. In this role Katie has developed a strategic approach to downtown revitalization around the Main Street four-point approach: design, organization, promotion, and economic vitality.  Katie is also co-author of Walking Cincinnati: 32 Tours Exploring Historic Neighborhoods, Stunning Riverfront Quarters, and Hidden Treasures in the Queen City, which was published last year.

Prior to Renaissance Covington, Katie worked as a Performance Analyst for Kentucky Housing Corporation, Kentucky’s state housing finance authority. She has an M.S. in Urban Policy Analysis and Management from The New School in New York City. Katie also serves on the Board of Directors of Skyward, Covington Business Council, and Be Concerned.

Katie lives in Austinburg with her wife and three dogs.

Anne David, Marketing Director

Anne spent 13 years working in advertising agencies creating marketing and media strategies that got results for her clients. In 2014, Anne refocused her strategic and business energy into her passion for working with the community. Anne holds a Bachelor of Science from Boston University’s College College of Communication. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Covington’s dynamic food and cocktail scene.

Megan Ayers, Events Coordinator

Megan is passionate about local food and community-making. In 2013, she bought her first home in Sayler Park, a western, river-adjacent neighborhood in Cincinnati, and commenced to creating a working, biodiverse, and sustainable farm on less than ¼ acre. Parkland Homestead Farm was born, and she began vending at Covington Farmers Market in 2015. Also in 2013, she founded Sayler Park Sustains, a free, day-long festival celebrating community, DIY sustainable practices, local music, growers, makers, Earth advocates, and local food and beer. Additionally, Megan is an English professor, writer, animal welfare proponent, musician, and volunteers actively in her community.
